Captain Marin was born in Split, Croatia. He has fifteen years of experience in the marine industry in sailing and motor yachts. Already in his childhood, he was closely associated with the sea and fishing. He studied at the Maritime College in Split. He started his captain career very young and gained lots of captain experience on large yachts. Marin has extensive knowledge of the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, especially the Adriatic coast. He offers an enthusiasm that blends well with the positive attitude of the entire crew. In contrast to the highly organized life onboard, Marin leads active sports, one where he is a keen swimmer, jogger, and father to 2 kids. Marin has a great way with guests, including children, and demonstrates tact, patience and professionalism, ensuring all their needs are met.

I was born in Split and from early age I have been surrounded by Mediterranean smells and tastes that later have become my cooking style.

My inspiration is coming from the nature and coastline way of life which are being reflected in a traditional cooking presented in a modern way. Enthusiastically learning new cooking techniques but because of the presence of daily fresh fish, my focus is more on creating dishes which includes raw or minimally treated fish that keeps its freshness and taste. I started my carrier as a teenager developing basic knowledge in à la carte restaurants on the Dalmatian coast and islands but my curious spirit led me to an awarded Slovenian restaurant across the Netherlands to charter yachts. I am friendly and open for any menu requests or suggestions as my only goal is happy and satisfied guests. In my spare time I do sports and hiking but my biggest passion alongside cooking is traveling and meeting new people and discovering new cultures.

Maja was born in Split and grew up in a small coastal town, Dugi Rat (near Split). After completing high school, Maja attended college (Faculty of Maritime Studies - Master's degree in Maritime Studies). While she was studying, she worked as a waitress. After graduation, she decided to start her yachting career. After successfully growing within this industry, Maja has taken exceptional care of the yacht and its guests for the last five years. She is warm, hardworking, reliable, and flexible at any time. Maja was always handy and creative, so she became her family's and closest friends' personal hair stylist during the latest world lockdown. She is good at styling, or blow-drying hair, so if any guests feel like they have a bad hair day, despair no more; Maja is here for you.

Coming from Split, Zvonimir is an experienced Chief Engineer with a solid electrical and AV/IT background on yachts and big cargo ships. His previous experiences were preparing yachts for surveys and interior and garage refits / being in charge of AV/IT, electric, hydraulic, and all other systems on board / completing sea trials after warranty works on main electrical inverters. He was preparing yachts for the yard period, delivering them to the shipyard / carrying out all significant engine overhauls (main, auxiliary). A stubborn super dad who loves what he does, that's me Zvonimir - Chief Engineer from Heed.

Sony is coming from sunny Split. After finishing Maritime High School, he started to work on day trips as a Tender/Jetski Skipper, where he grew his people and deck skills. Before joining Heed two years ago, he gained experience on different private and charter yachts, bringing them to Heed to share his knowledge and passion for all water sports activities. He is a fun, communicative, and hardworking person, with can-do attitude and a wonderful sense of adventure and exploration, which definitely benefits all the passengers. In his off time, he shares great passion for cars, motorbikes and a good barbeque.

Hana was born in the continental part of Croatia, town Čakovec, and has decided to move from her home town after finishing Tourism and Hotel Management Highschool, to Rijeka where she finished Faculty of Economics. Soon after, she moved to Split and started her yachting career in the summer of 2022 as a 2nd Stew on board a local 39m motor yacht. After successfully finishing her first season, she was called back and offered a promotion to the Chief Stew position in 2023. Realizing she likes this industry but still has a lot to learn, she decided to look for a yacht where she will expand her knowledge and grow her skill set, bringing her to Heed's team. Hana would describe herself as a Croatian Latina. Dancing, laughing and being a happy and fun soul is what describes her the most. She always had passion for music, acting & psychology, and likes to spend her free time reading a good book, doing Pilates or listening a good Hans Zimmer playlist by the sea. It’s the balance between the passion and calmness for her!

Bruno is the youngest crew member of the team. Still, his professionalism, dedication towards the job, and guest satisfaction make him equal to his teammates. After finishing Secondary Technical Traffic School in Split, he got a seasonal job as a tender driver for a day tours around Split archipelago. Being a fitness instructor and having interests in water sports and sea, at the beginning of 2022, he stepped into the yachting, becoming a Deckhand on a charter yacht, where he finished 2 successful seasons - bringing him now to Heed, where he will show and sharpen his existing skills.

Hey I’m Bruno, I’m your deckhand and tender driver who besides huge love for the sea has huge love for football. Fun fact- in the crew you have ex professional football player for Hajduk Split and captain for Croatian national team with 50 games, and as super skill, fitness coach license will also be helpful with pulling ropes.
